This is a most challenging badge to earn, but worth every minute!
It was designed to honor those Scouts who have shown a great desire to learn new things, and to be helpful in their communities. Their dedication to living the Dog Scout Way is evident, and they have met and conquered many obstacles and challenges to reach this goal.
Requirements include completing a 4-page application, plus:
- attending multiple Dog Scout Camps
- obtaining Therapy Dog & Canine Good Citizen certifications
- earning a minimum of 23 merit badges, including those specified (see CKSHT)
- passing the Honor Scout test in the “real world” (in public)
