troop is having a garage sale to raise funds for their upcoming dog scout
camp in April. Please donate to the garage sale. Ask your family and

arrangements to pick up your items.

Bring Your Own Basket!

All doggy ages welcome!

Join us for fun in the park!

An Easter egg hunt is something you and your dog will do together. You can teach your dog what this new game is and at the same time, you can prevent your dog from getting too greedy with the eggs. Plus, you’ll have fun playing together.

ALL dogs must be able to present current rabies vaccination and remain on-leash at all times.

Easter Egg Hunt For Dogs @ Faulkner Park

egg huntSunday, March 20th, at Faulkner Park at 3 pm, the troop is
holding an Easter Egg Hunt! We will hide the eggs in the
central grassy area and come meet you at the trailhead at 3
pm. The plastic eggs will be filled with cheese, dog treats,
etc. There is even several prize eggs for the humans!

Pack Walk
Mar 20 @ 4:00 pm – 4:30 pm

hikeWe meet at the trailhead at Faulkner Park (across from the pond) for a pack
walk at 4 pm each Sunday. The pack walk really helps with socialization
and soothes fearful dogs.

Training Class
Mar 20 @ 5:00 pm – 5:30 pm

hikeAt 5 pm, we train with Cyndi McLellan of CiCi’s Canine Coaching. Cyndi is known for helping dogs with problem
behaviors in their home environment. Foster parents should come train with us so they can teach basic manners and solve problems more quickly.
Plus we can show you how to teach tricks to make your foster even more appealing to potential adopters! You can help more dogs if you can shorten
the “turnaround” period through learning to be a better trainer yourself!
Class is $5 paid to Cyndi.

Free Mini-Film Festival for Humans…about Dogs @ Arlington Community Church

Want to be a better advocate for your dog or the dogs in your community?  Join Dog Scouts of America East Bay Troop 237 in watching two films by Canine Behavior Expert, Susan Sternberg, that will provide you with valuable information on dog communication.  These films can help you be proactive in handling your dog’s interactions with people and other dogs and increase your awareness of the warning signs displayed by dogs to prevent dog bites.
